The job requires a work time from 7am-4pm - Monday to Friday. The following are the main specifics in what we are looking for in a candidate. This is a steel fabrication of pre-engineered steel building facility. This position is for a qualified welding supervisor who should also possess a strong knowledge of steel fabrication drawings, tolerances, strong familiarity with welding inspection and quality control procedures and understanding of standards such as ISO, CSA W47.1 and CSA W59. The candidate will also possess strong communication skills, including detailed reporting and documentation abilities. This job we are offering and candidate we are looking for would be responsible for ensuring all fabricated steel components meet project specifications, customer requirements, company and industry standards, and quality procedures before they leave the shop as the candidate will be someone with experience and knowledge in structural steel fabrication and would have to undergo a screening/interview either in person or virtual (so as to not waste their time and money for travel purposes).
Job Description: QC/QA Coordinator - Steel Manufacturing lnspect and verify steel materials and fabricated components meet company and regulatory standards. Maintain and update quality control documentation, reports, and records. Monitor welding, fabrication, and finishing processes for compliance with ISO/EN/CSA requirements. Coordinate with production teams to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Conduct internal audits and prepare for third-party inspections. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies in all QA/QC activities. Communicate quality standards and expectations to shop and field staff. Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing and erection operations.
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
