*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and project management, ensuring that all building systems function efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to facility management, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance. *Responsibilities* - Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. - Fabricate and install components as needed to support facility operations. - Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management. - Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures. - Manage projects related to building improvements or renovations from inception to completion. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a safe working environment. - Communicate effectively in English with team members, contractors, and vendors regarding maintenance needs and project updates. *Qualifications* - Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base. - Familiarity with low voltage systems is preferred. - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience supervising maintenance teams or contractors is highly desirable. - Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to building systems efficiently. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. - A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail is essential.
