Shop Lead – Pipeline & Facility Fabrication
Complete Projects Ltd. is seeking an experienced Shop Lead to oversee daily operations in our pipeline and facility fabrication shop.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating shop activities, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise shop personnel
- Coordinate fabrication activities and workflow
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements
- Monitor productivity, labour hours, and project progress
- Assign tasks to shop employees
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and shop resources
- Conduct inspections and ensure completed work meets company standards
- Communicate with project managers, field crews, and clients as required
Qualifications
- Experience in pipeline and facility fabrication
- Strong knowledge of welding, fitting, and fabrication processes
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and isometrics
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Quality Control background an asset
- Safety-focused mindset
- Valid driver’s licence
