We’re Hiring Trivia Hosts
The Proper Pub Quiz is a fast-growing events company, and we’re looking for new hosts to join the team.
This isn’t your typical job, and it definitely isn’t standing in the corner reading questions from your phone. We host proper pub quizzes with packed rooms, good banter, competitive teams and nights people actually come back for.
What the job looks like:
- Hosting trivia nights at bars and venues around Manitoba
- Running the quiz, music rounds, and keeping the room engaged
- Setting up basic equipment we provide
- Creating a fun atmosphere while keeping the night moving smoothly
You’d be a good fit if you:
- Are confident speaking in front of a crowd
- Can think on your feet
- Have a good sense of humour
- Are reliable and organized
- Enjoy trivia, music, pubs, pop culture, sports, or just talking to people
Requirements:
- Must have access to a laptop
- Must have reliable transportation
- Evening availability required
Radio, theatre, comedy, teaching, emceeing, or customer service experience is a huge asset, but not required.

Most shows run weekday evenings, with some weekends popping up, and last around 2-3 hours.
