Job Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving position is a full-time role with a Monday through Friday schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. One must possess the skills to multitask and prioritize tasks while ensuring Management, Sales, Customers, and Client delivery needs and requests are met in a timely fashion. This role will require one to verify, co-ordinate and manage incoming and outgoing shipments while ensuring accuracy and quality.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, process and verify quality of all incoming sold parts while ensuring sold parts meets customer expectations.
- Prepare and package parts for delivery
- Assist with loading fleet in a timely fashion while ensuring all parts meet QC standards
- Maintain, organize, and clean Shipping and Receiving area
- Ensure that all safety procedures and measures are taken to safely perform required task
- Additional shipping tasks as requested by management
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- Shipping and Receiving experience an asset
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts an asset
- Ability to operate small hand tools
- Ability to manage time efficiently to ensure good productivity
- must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Forklift certification an asset
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Team Player
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
