Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately using medical terminology
- Support nursing staff in administering medications and treatments following established protocols
- Maintain detailed documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans
- Manage patient records securely and efficiently using computer operation skills
- Provide compassionate customer service to enhance patient experience
- Assist with patient education on health management and medication usage
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with healthcare standards
Experience
- Prior experience in acute care or nursing support roles is preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures is essential
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer operation
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with diverse patient populations and healthcare team members
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
