Hourly wage of $44.62/hr

Full-time position with guaranteed hours for job stability

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift (ie. 7am-3pm); must be available on call as needed on weekends/afternoons.

As a Millwright / Mechanic, you’ll be at the heart of operations—right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:

Install, examine, replace or repair machines in a timely manner.

Perform preventative maintenance to equipment as required, including minor electrical repairs and welding.

Pick up parts as necessary, using the maintenance van (personal vehicle is an asset. If used mileage will be paid).

Adhere to maintenance schedule. Make recommendations for optimizing schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Report any unusual scheduling issues to supervisor.

Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.

Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.

Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.

Use proper lockout/tag out procedures when required, never allowing a machine to be operated without proper guarding or when the possibility of injury is evident.

Must have Red seal industrial millwright/mechanic 433A certification

2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience, ideally in the paper industry

Electrical experience an asset

Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Able to work independently as needed

Must have own tools
