Delta Power Equipment is one of Ontario's leading farm and construction equipment dealerships, with over 450 employees across multiple locations providing sales, service, and parts support to customers throughout the province.
We are currently seeking an Agricultural Parts Advisor to join our Mitchell team. If you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.
As an Agricultural Parts Advisor, you'll play a vital role in helping our customers stay productive by ensuring they have the right parts and support when they need them most.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Source and sell parts and accessories to existing and prospective customers through exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in identifying the correct parts and solutions for their equipment
- Generate quotes and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve as the first point of contact for parts customers, both over the counter and by phone
- Provide information regarding parts availability, pricing, applications, and warranties
- Utilize Electronic Parts Catalogues and dealership systems to identify and locate parts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, equipment, and parts offerings
- Support merchandising and retail display standards within the parts department
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
- Work collaboratively with the service department to support customer and technician needs
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- A customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General understanding of agricultural equipment systems and components
- Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogues or similar parts lookup systems
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in agriculture, equipment, automotive, or parts sales is considered an asset
- Knowledge of farming and agricultural operations is considered an asset
