Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide attentive support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing environment while promoting independence and well-being. Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support individuals with disabilities or special needs through tailored caregiving strategies
- Assist with medication management and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Engage clients in recreational activities, educational exercises, or teaching sessions to promote mental stimulation
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Foster positive social interactions and emotional support to enhance overall quality of life
- Collaborate with family members, healthcare providers, and educators to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Background in caregiving, early childhood education, or classroom experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills and patience are essential for building trusting relationships
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs of clients
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Valid background check and ability to pass any required screening processes
- Prior experience in teaching or working within educational settings is a plus
