Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction, including plan reading, concrete forming, restoration, door and window installs, and general framing. The position is full-time and involves working with a team to deliver high-quality results in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed plans, specifications, and engineer details to ensure accurate project execution.
- Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete forming techniques, siding, framing, and other carpentry skills.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and elevated platform equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement to support various phases of construction projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in blueprint reading, concrete forming, framing, window installs
- Class 5 drivers License
- Red Seal
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools,
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments for extended periods.
- Experience with joinery, scaffolding, or other specialized trades is a plus.
- Must be reliable with good attention to detail and teamwork skills.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
