Duties
- Oversee daily store operations during overnight hours, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and reconcile cash registers to ensure accuracy and security
- Coordinate merchandising efforts, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to optimize sales and stock levels
- Conduct regular safety inspections, security checks, and CCTV surveillance to maintain a secure environment
- Train new employees on store policies, POS systems, customer service standards, and safety protocols
- Handle customer inquiries or issues promptly with effective communication skills and a positive attitude
Experience
- Proven supervisory or team management experience in retail or hospitality environments
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated leadership in recruiting, training & development of staff, and performance management
- Knowledge of budgeting, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and sales management techniques
