About the role
We are a watch and jewellery service business looking for a skilled and customer-focused Watch Technician to join our team in the Lower Mainland. You will be responsible for servicing customers, providing watch and jewellery repair services, and supporting day-to-day store operations.
Duties
- Perform watch battery replacements, band adjustments, strap changes, and basic repairs
- Assist customers with watch, jewellery, and accessories purchases
- Provide knowledgeable, friendly customer service and build repeat clientele
- Maintain store presentation, inventory, and display standards
- Process transactions accurately using a POS system
Experience
- Experience in watch and/or jewellery repair (hands-on bench experience preferred)
- Proven retail sales experience — ability to upsell and close transactions confidently
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
- Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Nice to have
- Familiarity with watch brands
- Experience working in a mall or kiosk retail environment
- Basic jewellery repair skills (clasp replacement, resizing, etc.)
- Bilingual abilities are an asset
