Job Summary
As the Sous Chef of Britannia Brewing Vancouver, you will play a key role in assisting management with all areas relating to culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading daily preparation activities
- Effectively manage kitchen line in the absence of Head Chef
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff, in compliance to all local and provincial health guidelines
- Promoting teamwork through effective feedback and communication
- Maintaining a high level of food quality in accordance with company standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
What You Bring:
- 1-3 years of quality cooking or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Experience in leading and/or supporting a team
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and receive constructive feedback
- Creativity and confidence in creating daily features as needed
- Overall passion for the restaurant industry, a love for food, and a desire to engage with and impact guests (passion for craft beer a bonus!)
- Your own vehicle to get you to and from the brewery
