Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices or less experienced electricians
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license/certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician is preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, fire alarm, conduit bending
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
