ACME PHYSIO is looking for an outgoing and personable Office Administrator to join our growing team at our clinic and gym studio. The office administrator will keep a professional and welcoming attitude towards patients, colleagues, and visitors to the clinic while following all procedures and policies of the position. Computer, communication and organization skills are needed. We are located near Downtown Markham and also steps away from Scarborough North, North York, Thornhill and Richmond Hill regions.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls with inquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals
- Scheduling appointments using Clinicsense software (experience not required)
- Producing invoices, handling payments and point of sale transactions, balancing the end of day payments
- Processing Extended Health Insurance claims with affiliated direct billing portals such as Telus health, Sunlife, Provider connect, Blue cross, HCAI (not required but appreciated)
- Greeting patients at the door and escorting them into treatment space
- Preparing paperwork for orthotic orders, receiving shipments of products, and ensuring patients have appointments to collect their orders in a timely fashion
- Maintaining a professional atmosphere at the front desk, and running the office efficiently and with accuracy
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of clinic spaces and replenish clinic resources as they deplete
- Responsible for the operations of social media and marketing campaigns
