SUMMARY
The Technical Sales Counter Representative Level 2 is responsible for a wide variety of clerical store duties in support of company sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Operation & Customer Service
-
Greet walk-in customers to the store in a professional and welcoming manner.

Assist customers with their product requirements.

Build hydraulic and pneumatic hose assemblies utilizing the provided tools, equipment, and training.

Pick, pack and ship orders and transfers.
-
Maintain store stock levels and product displays.
-
Maintain a neat, inviting and safe store.
-
Actively participate in development training provided by the company and vendors.
-
Provide complete accurate information to other supporting department such as Purchasing, Credit and technical services.

Perform other duties as assigned
Warehouse
-
Follow guidelines for safe warehouse access and operation of machinery.
Inside Sales
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.

Order entry and expediting.

Manage quote entry and follow up.

REQUIREMENTS
Educational/ Experience Requirement

Mechanical and technical education and/or proven experience in hydraulics and or pneumatics.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
-
Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.

Strong customer service orientation.
