We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities
KNOWLEDGE OF TOBACCO AND LOTTO SALES WILL BE AN ASSET
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Handle cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
- Upsell products and promote store specials or promotions to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier area, store shelves, and fuel pumps
- Manage product merchandising to ensure attractive displays
- Provide product demos or information when needed to enhance customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all transactions
- Assist customers with questions about products or services in a courteous manner
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and improve service efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of POS systems and retail merchandising practices
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
