Duties are seasonal in nature.
During the winter months, the team member would be responsible for clearing snow from walks, driveways, decks, and parking lots for various residential properties as well as safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions. All duties are expected to be performed in an efficient manner, while promoting job worksite safety. Equipment used could include shovels, plows, snow blowers, vehicles with plow blades and other power and manually operated tools and equipment used to perform snow removal. During the spring, summer, and fall months, the team member would be responsible for the following:
- operating small lawncare equipment (lawn mower - push & riding, trimmer, blower, clippers)
- operating a vehicle with trailer
- carry out property clean ups with equipment
- maintain regular maintenance of lawn and gardens
- ability to load and unload equipment and material
Team member must be able to perform highly physical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions including severe heat & cold, wind, and snow.
All members of the team are responsible for working independently or as a team member under the supervision of the owner/operator. Taking direction as well as working independently with little oversight is an important aspect of this role along with providing excellent customer service and exhibiting pride and quality workmanship.
