Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Restaurant Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food items, operating POS systems, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision and maintain accurate cash handling records
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Experience in Shawarma restaurant, food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Sanitation and cleanliness awareness to maintain a hygienic environment
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Upselling skills to promote menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
