POSITION: Event Server LOCATION: GTA & Surrounding Regions TYPE: Part-time / Event-based
YOUR ROLE ON THE DAY
- Deliver elegant, attentive table and buffet service at weddings, corporate galas, fundraisers, and private celebrations — events ranging from 50 to 500 guests.
- Assist with professional setup and breakdown of service stations, buffet lines, and table arrangements — ensuring every detail meets our elevated standard.
- Serve passed canapés, plated courses, and late-night stations with precision timing and professional poise — representing the Cut & Catered standard at every turn.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and event leads, adapt to evolving event logistics in real time, and ensure every guest interaction is warm and professional.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout service — from first course to final cleanup.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 1 year of experience in event, banquet, or hospitality service — catering experience is a strong asset.
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain before your first event).
- A composed, polished presence and an instinct for anticipating guests' needs before they're expressed.
- Reliable transportation and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays — when the GTA celebrates, we're there.
- A team-first attitude and the physical stamina to deliver exceptional service from the first guest arrival to the last table cleared.
