We are looking for a Senior SAP Fiori Developer to join a Long-term Contract opportunity in Calgary, Alberta within the agriculture industry. In this role, you will create and support modern SAP user experiences for S/4HANA environments, partnering with technical and business teams to deliver reliable, intuitive, and scalable applications. This position is well suited to someone who combines strong SAPUI5 and OData expertise with a practical approach to usability, performance, and secure solution delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Create, improve, and maintain SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications that support business operations across SAP landscapes.
- Deliver both freestyle and template-based Fiori solutions by translating functional needs into effective user-facing applications.
- Build responsive, role-based interfaces that align with Fiori design standards and provide a consistent user experience.
- Connect front-end solutions with back-end functionality through OData services and close coordination with ABAP and technical teams.
- Extend or adapt standard Fiori applications when business needs require additional capability or tailored workflows.
- Diagnose and fix issues affecting UI behaviour, service integration, application speed, and cross-browser performance.
- Contribute to technical planning, peer reviews, testing activities, release preparation, and post-deployment support.
- Produce clear technical documentation and share knowledge with project team members to support ongoing delivery and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience developing SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications.
- Strong working knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, OData services, and SAP views in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience building both freestyle Fiori applications and Fiori Elements applications.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA development landscapes and best practices for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Solid understanding of front-end development concepts, including JavaScript, CSS, and XML-based technologies.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, functional consultants, architects, and developers in collaborative delivery teams.
- Experience with troubleshooting, secure development practices, testing, and deployment support in Agile environments.
