Construction Site Supervisor (On-Site)
Are you an experienced construction professional who leads by example and takes pride in delivering high-quality work? We're looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to join our growing team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our projects
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to keep projects on schedule.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications.
- Monitor quality control and ensure all work complies with project requirements and applicable regulations.
- Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce company safety policies, and maintain a safe job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, inspectors, suppliers, and office staff.
- Identify and resolve site issues before they impact project timelines or quality.
- Maintain accurate daily site reports, including labour, equipment, materials, and project progress.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and report maintenance or repair requirements.
- Train, mentor, and motivate crew members while promoting a positive team culture.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
