Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee daily operations at our dealership. Duties
- Manage and supervise the service department team, including technicians and support staff
- Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Develop and implement sales strategies, including upselling additional services and repairs
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper financial records
- Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide training and mentorship to staff to promote professional growth
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and customer experience
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience in automotive service management or a similar role
- Mechanic experience with solid mechanical knowledge of vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Demonstrated sales ability, including upselling services effectively
- Experience in automotive repair processes and procedures
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, safety protocols, and dealership operations
