About the Job
The Finance Analyst keeps AMZ Prep's billing and cash flowing. You run invoicing across our service lines, manage accounts receivable end to end, and build the profitability analyses that show leadership where we make money and where we leak it.
This is a hands-on, numbers-in-the-weeds role. You generate and validate invoices, chase down overdue accounts, and turn messy data into clean analysis. You use modern tools (Claude, Google AI Studio, automation platforms) to kill the manual work that bogs down most finance functions, so your time goes to analysis that moves the business, not data entry.
5 Major Duties
- Accounts Receivable Management
- Invoice Creation & Accuracy
- Profitability Building
- Senior Leadership Reporting
- Finance Automation
Our Values
Win Relentlessly- We work hard and stay resilient when things get difficult. We push to raise the bar every day and are obsessed with delivering results.
Own the Outcome - We take responsibility for the results of our work. We do not wait for someone else to solve problems. When something breaks, we step in, fix it, and ensure it does not happen again.
Be Humbly Confident - We are confident in our abilities but grounded in how we work with others. We communicate directly, stay respectful, and avoid politics or ego.
Obsess Over Data - Data drives how we operate. We use numbers to identify problems, improve processes, and make better decisions.

Application question(s):
- Introduce yourself and share a loom video + tell us one thing you've done that is absolutely spectacular. Please make sure the loom / video is viewable!
- Tell us about your fulfillment, logistics, or freight experience.
We do not hire finance people who have never seen a pallet. What is your operating context? What do you know about how warehouses, freight lanes, or final mile actually make money?
- Walk us through one number you moved.
A specific finance metric you owned (DSO, margin, accuracy, close cycle, anything). What it was when you arrived, what it was when you left, and how you moved it.
- What AI tools do you use weekly? What is one workflow you have built or automated using AI? Be specific. If you do not use AI today, tell us that honestly.
- Pull up QuickBooks and Excel in your head. On a scale of 1-10, how strong are you in each?
- Whats your salary expectations?
- Are you looking for full-time or contract?
- Can you come into office 3x per week?
