Account Executive – Group Employee Benefits

About the Opportunity:
With over 50 years of dedicated service to small to medium CPA firms, we are an established and growing organization with a strong foundation in group benefits, serving 170 firms and more than 2,000 members.
We have a clear and ambitious goal to double the firms and members we serve. To help you in achieving these goals, you will have the full support of existing talented team’s including Marketing, Service, Administration, and Accounting.
This is not a plug-and-play role. This is a ground-floor opportunity. You’ll have the autonomy to define strategy, refine our go-to-market approach, and grow a meaningful book of business.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing group benefits opportunities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to support our goal of doubling our current book
- Build and manage your own portfolio of clients, from first conversation through renewal
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance proposals, pricing strategies, and client experience
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored benefits solutions
- Help define and refine the sales process, tools, and playbook for future team growth
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier offerings, and competitive positioning
- Attend relevant networking events and conferences

Qualifications:
- 5+ years in business development or sales role in employee benefits.
- Strong sense of accountability and ability to complete tasks on time.
- Life/A&S License (HLLQP/LLQP).
- CEBS designation is an asset.
