Flowtech Mechanical is seeking a skilled, reliable, and leadership-driven Plumbing Foreman to manage on-site field operations. In this role, you will lead a team of Journeypersons and apprentices while working closely with project managers. You will oversee the layout, installation, maintenance, and repair of diverse plumbing systems, ensuring every project finishing safely, on schedule, and up to code.
The position is based in Saskatoon and will require travel to projects throughout the city and surrounding area. A work vehicle will be provided.
Qualifications & Position Requirements:
- Mandatory valid class 5 drivers license
- Valid Red Seal qualification
- 10 years of plumbing experience, 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Clean criminal record and driver history
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site crews: Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the daily workloads of apprentices and journeyperson plumbers.
- Blueprint navigation: Read, interpret, and accurately execute technical drawings, schematics, and structural plans.
- Manage workflow: Schedule on-site tasks, track project timelines, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Enforce safety standards: Maintain rigid compliance with local plumbing codes, safety protocols, and regulations.
- Material tracking: Inspect deliveries, manage inventory, and order required tools or materials for the job site.
- Perform hands-on plumbing: Handle complex plumbing installations, structural rough-ins, and high-level technical repairs when needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Provide direct, professional updates to builders, general contractors, and project managers
