MODE Built is a well-established local construction company serving Edmonton and surrounding areas. We’re looking for an experienced in-house Finishing Carpenter who takes pride in their work, has high standards, and enjoys being part of a professional, collaborative team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Install interior and exterior doors (barn, pocket, bi-fold, bypass, solid core, etc.)
· Install door, bathroom, and closet hardware
· Install baseboard, casing, and decorative moldings
· Install subfloor systems and DriCore flooring
· Build and install custom finishing items (window boxes, attic hatches, MDF shelving, stair capping, panel doors, clean-out covers)
· Install paneling, wainscoting, decorative wall features, and handrails
· Read and work from plans and drawings
· Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in finishing carpentry
· Fluent in English
· Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
· Able to pass a basic criminal record check
· Reliable and punctual
· Strong communication skills
· Able to work independently and with a team
· Safety-oriented
· Proficient with hand and power tools
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, crouching)
