Overview
We are seeking a caring, knowledgeable and skilled Aesthetician to join our dermatology and aesthetic care team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping clients to achieve skin health and beauty goals. The candidate would have the ability to build an ambient and comfortable environment around clients, create and maintain excellent rapport with clients, and ensure clients' utmost satisfaction.
You will talk to clients to understand their needs, recommend the right treatments, help them make decisions, and make sure they are happy with the services they are provided. It's important to follow prescribed schedule and keep the work area clean. You should also know about the products and services we offer and be able to sell them. And most importantly, you should treat clients with kindness and respect.
You will be working with a G.P. Dermatologist and hence would have the opportunity to learn and at the same time prove yourself to be able to not only be willing to learn and acquire more knowledge, but also capable of working and delivering on your own initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Provision of skincare treatments like facials, waxing, extractions, peels, body wraps, makeup application, and all other treatment modalities that may be necessary and within the scope of beauty, esthetics, and general skincare.
- Being on time for appointments and managing your schedule.
- Greeting clients warmly, taking them to the treatment room, and thanking them when they leave.
- Talking to clients to learn about their skin and any concerns and deciding on the best treatment for them.
- Giving advice on skincare and suggesting products and treatments.
- Talking and connecting with clients during their treatment.
- Knowing about our products and services and being able to sell them.
- Advise clients on, and sell skincare products, explaining their benefits and composition.
- Inform clients about current promotions and services.
- Following safety guidelines for using chemicals and keeping equipment clean.
- Changing and washing linens between clients.
- Stopping treatment and reporting any inappropriate behavior where necessary.
- Monitor product stock and assist with ordering.
- Keep treatment areas and common spaces clean and sanitized to professional standards
- Help to plan, schedule, and host special events
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic.
- Process clients' intake forms and assist with insurance verification.
- Handle billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance companies as may be needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of clients' records.
- Assist and support healthcare providers with adjunct clinical tasks.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Utilize office software and systems, including Jane App.
Experience & Skills Requirement
- Ability to build rapport, make clients feel welcome and comfortable, and provide a relaxing experience.
- Previous experience as an Aesthetician is preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Jane EMR (App) to maintain detailed and accurate client files and wellness charts.
- The ability to use EMRs will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
