Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our team at Urban Cellars College Park Mall in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring our customers have a seamless shopping experience while representing our commitment to quality service and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions.
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and legal regulations.
- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves as needed.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards to foster repeat business.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Friendly attitude with excellent organizational skills.
- Previous experience in alcohol or beverage retail is advantageous but not required.
