Sign Fabricator – Job Description
A Sign Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing and assembling a wide variety of indoor and outdoor signs according to design specifications. This role involves measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials such as aluminum, acrylic, PVC, wood, and vinyl. The Sign Fabricator operates fabrication equipment and hand tools, ensures quality standards are met, and works closely with designers and installers to complete projects on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Fabricate signs using materials such as aluminum, acrylic, PVC, and vinyl.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, routers, CNC machines, drills, and welders (if required).
- Apply vinyl graphics and assemble sign components.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with packaging and preparing signs for delivery or installation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sign fabrication or a related manufacturing field.
- Ability to read measuring tools and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with power tools and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work safely.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
