As a company dedicated to quality and tradition we serve as a manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer committed to excellence in textile and clothing production. Our retail store and production center is located at 570 Bryne Drive, Barrie, Ontario, Canada. We carry a full range of Scottish and Irish products in store and online. We proudly carry top quality products made in Scotland and we manufacture all the kilts, skirts, sashes and more in Barrie. We have been providing people all over the world with kilts for over 50 years and we supply a large number of pipe bands and military regiments across North America.
Job description
We are looking for a qualified, talented and ambitious tailor/seamstress for our production team here in Barrie, Ontario. We are currently looking to expand our production operations to keep up with our growing business and we are looking for people who want to grow with us.

Specific Skills Required:
- Operate sewing machines and/or sew by hand
- Experience making skirts, dreses and jackets
- Make made-to-measure garments according to customer specifications
- Great attention to detail
- Fit, alter and repair garments as required
- Able to operate serger, button hole machine, button machine and regular industrial sewing machine
- Experience with kilts is desirable but not required
- Strong communication skills and good command of English language
