Skills and Responsibilities
· Effectively communicate to all site personnel and co-workers
· Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance, etc.
· Identify, report, and correct hazards
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Punctuality
· Promote and implement Day Group’s Safety Culture
Requirements
· Minimum one (1) year experience
· Experienced with pipe fusing, fusing equipment and pipe laying
· Mechanical/ Millwright aptitude is considered an ASSET
· Heavy equipment operator is an ASSET (excavator/ loader)
· Chainsaw experience is an ASSET
· Physically fit to manually lift pipes and material
· Valid Drivers License with a clean abstract
· Current CPIC required
· Work inside and outside in all weather conditions, and various locations
· Ability to work independently and self-motivated
· Team Player; able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
Wages commensurate with experience
This position is based at a Remote Camp, 7/7 with Bonus
Pre-employment drug tests are conducted.
