Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in mechanical systems, construction, or appliance repair to apply their expertise in a dynamic environment. Duties
- Install HVAC systems according to schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
- Perform ductwork installation and sealing to ensure optimal system performance
- Connect plumbing components related to HVAC units as needed
- Use welding techniques for secure connections when required
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues using mechanical knowledge and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance on installed systems to ensure longevity and efficiency
- Assist with boiler installation and repairs when necessary
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation or related mechanical fields such as plumbing, welding, or appliance repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in boiler systems, schematics, and construction processes
- Experience working with HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, or as a mechanic is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction and HVAC work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy equipment and working at heights if necessary
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
