Join a growing fashion company where you'll play an integral role in the product development process. Working closely with the Head Designer, you'll help bring concepts to life by creating technical documentation, preparing visual materials, and coordinating with overseas suppliers. Responsibilities
- Create accurate production-ready tech packs using Adobe Photoshop.
- Prepare and refine visual assets, presentation boards, and other design support materials.
- Communicate daily with overseas suppliers, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolving production-related issues.
- Review development samples to ensure they meet design and technical specifications.
- Assist with costing reviews and other product development activities.
- Research market and industry trends to support new product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support on various projects as needed.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a Technical Designer or similar product development role within the fashion industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is required; Adobe Illustrator is considered a strong asset.
- Experience creating tech packs and working directly with overseas suppliers.
- Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
