The QC Line inspector, under the direction of the Process Engineer, will primarily be responsible to ensure compliance with company policies and standards like quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
This position will ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs. This role will also follow manufacturing and processing procedures, carry out production and inspection processes.
The QC Line inspector must possess knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various assembly processes and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies and reports production deficiencies
- Conducts internal audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
- Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs
- Follow manufacturing and processing procedures carry out production and inspection processes
- Mark, record, and report defective products
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety
- Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments.
- Support site water and air testing. Some travelling is required.
- Flexible within the QA team and larger organization, navigating work priorities effectively
- Administers documentation including support, gather, and upload documents with App (Fieldlens)
Pay: $23.00 per hour
