We are a well-established structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication company looking for an experienced Steel Fabricator to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience fabricating miscellaneous metals, including stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, gates, and custom architectural metalwork. Attention to detail, the ability to read shop drawings, and producing high-quality work are essential.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate miscellaneous metal products including stairs, railings, handrails, guards, platforms, ladders, and custom steel components.
* Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication details.
* Measure, cut, fit, and assemble steel components accurately.
* Perform MIG welding and grinding to produce clean, high-quality finished products.
* Operate fabrication equipment including ironworkers, saws, drills, presses, and other shop machinery.
* Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Work independently and collaboratively with the shop team to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of steel fabrication experience.
* Extensive experience with miscellaneous metals fabrication is required.
* Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication/shop drawings.
* Proficient in MIG welding and fitting.
* Experience fabricating stairs and railings is mandatory.
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication shop.
* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
