Overview of the role
The Regional Manager, Sales – North American Dairy Ingredients will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and expand the company’s market share in various segments. This role involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, managing relationships with key accounts, and to achieve revenue targets on a global scale.
How you will make contributions that matter:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the functional foods and health and wellness segments;
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape;
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones;
- Create and manage an international sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction;
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture;
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management;
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
- Maintain sales forecasts for its product category;
- Support marketing efforts, including attending trade fairs in which the company participates;
- Participate to innovation projects and support new product development on dry ingredients.
- Ensure good communication between sales, customer service and our supply chain team;
- Monitor claims for damaged products;
- Perform other duties as required.
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have The Following Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in a related field;
- Minimum experience in a similar role, preferably within the dairy industry; preferred experience with lactose, whey protein, milk protein, whey permeate as well as value added ingredients
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a US / global market
- Seeking a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of guiding teams to exceed objectives and achieve sustained success.
- Strong understanding of Canada, US and international market dynamics and business practices
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Organizational skills and resourcefulness
- Mandatory travel (25%-50%)
- Ability to manage schedules and priorities
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
As part of their duties, the position holder will be required to communicate and collaborate in English and French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues or other stakeholders located in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, or across North America.

Salary: $106,870 to $140,270
- Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
