Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations,
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations throughout all food preparation processes
- Help with dishwashing when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience working in the food industry, including kitchen experience, is highly desirable
- Strong serving skills and understanding of customer service principles are a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the food industry
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
