About the Role
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting Epiphany Group and its subsidiaries through full‑cycle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. The role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to support process improvement, assist leadership with financial insights, and help maintain accurate and timely financial information across multiple entities.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, adaptable, and eager to take ownership in a dynamic environment where volumes and priorities can shift.
What You’ll Do
You will lead and support core accounting functions, including:
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes
- Supporting annual operating budgets and performance projections
- Maintaining documentation for cash, AP, AR, and balance sheet accounts
- Responding to information requests and assisting with year‑end preparation
- Ensuring accurate and timely AP processing
- Preparing monthly financial packages with trend and forecasting analysis
- Creating internal process documentation
- Serving as a day‑to‑day accounting contact for CEOs
- Reviewing month‑end files and providing constructive feedback
- Supporting improvements to accounting systems and procedures
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Supportingspecial projects
What You Bring

- Professional business writing experience (letters, emails, proposals)
- Strong problem‑solving and solution‑oriented communication
- Self‑discipline, time‑management, and adaptability
- A commitment to maintaining professional conduct
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in real estate or insurance is considered an asset, but not required
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes
Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar)
