The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a data focus is tasked with bridging business needs and technical solutions, specializing in data-driven projects and initiatives. The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing data solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-centric systems and enhancements.
BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 - Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data-related projects
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for data solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data engineers to define and implement data workflows and processes
- Support the design, development, and testing of data pipelines, integrations, and reporting solutions
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for data initiatives
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and communications to drive consensus and solution alignment
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance requirements are addressed in all solutions
BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 - Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data projects
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Data Lake)
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance standards
BSA/Data Analyst - Databricks x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with financial services or regulated industries
- Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools, and reporting platforms
- Certification in business analysis or relevant cloud/data platforms
- Experience in Agile and/or Scrum methodologies
