Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Butcher to join our beef processing team. Responsibilities
- Perform meat cutting and butchery tasks with precision, ensuring cuts meet quality standards.
- Operate manufacturing equipment related to food processing, including knives, saws, and packaging machinery.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning work areas and equipment regularly to comply with food safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking product quantities and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality output.
Requirements
- Proven experience in butchery, meat cutting, or food processing within the food industry.
- Knowledge of packaging techniques and manufacturing processes related to food production.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and troubleshooting processing equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent sanitation habits and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Prior experience with food safety certifications or training is preferred but not required.
