Overview of Position:
Cobo Electric is seeking a skilled Construction / Industrial Electrician to join our team in Winnipeg, with regular out-of-town assignments. We offer an exceptional, supportive work environment, top-tier compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical distribution systems (including 600V MCC panels, transformers, and sub-stations).
- Install, program, and service industrial motor controls, VFDs, and PLC automation loops.
- Perform thermal imaging inspections and preventative electrical maintenance (training provided on non-contact infrared systems).
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with site managers and client representatives.
- Adhere strictly to Manitoba Electrical Code and site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Construction Red Seal Certification required.
- Valid Manitoba Journeyperson Electrician License (H or HC License) required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract to operate company vehicles..
- Willingness to travel out of town for scheduled projects.
- Must currently reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work here.
