Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teacher, mainly to instruct mainly Math and English programs for elementary and intermediate students. We are also looking for Coding or Abacus teachers. Duties
- Deliver already prepared lessons tailored to elementary and intermediate levels
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic development
- Utilize computer skills to grade and assess students
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure cohesive program delivery
- Support students with special education needs by adapting teaching methods
- Monitor attendance, participation, and behavioral progress of students during sessions
Requirements
- Prior experience working with kids in an educational or tutoring setting
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the use of educational resources
- Passion for education, patience, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to create an inclusive, motivating learning environment
- Flexibility to work part-time hours that fit within after-school programs
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
