Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time licensed 310S Mechanic to join our team. This role offers a competitive annual pay starting at $85,000–$120,000, plus holiday pay. If you’re passionate about automotive excellence and want to be part of a reputable team, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- General Mechanical Work
- Vehicle Repairs: Inspect, maintain, and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and exhaust systems.
- Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools (e.g., OBD scanners) to identify fault codes and determine issues.
- Parts Replacement: Replace damaged components such as tires, brake pads, belts, and filters.
- Maintenance Services: Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire inspections, and brake adjustments.
- Documentation: Record repair processes, parts usage, and customer feedback.
- Electrical & Electronic Repairs
- Vehicle Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair batteries, starters, ignition systems, lighting, and wiring harnesses.
- Modern Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and fix issues related to electronic control units (ECUs) and advanced vehicle systems.
- Customer Communication:
- Explain repair processes and associated costs to customers in a clear, professional manner. Provide maintenance advice to help clients extend vehicle lifespan.
- Safety Inspection Station:
- Perform safety inspections and issue safety inspection certificates.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid 310S Mechanic’s License.
- Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical diagnostics/repairs.
- Strong communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently, maintain accurate documentation, and follow safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract is an asset.
