Job Summary ( 3 years experience with clean Abstract)
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a clean driving record. This role is essential in supporting our operations by providing efficient and professional transportation services.
Important : Must be able to operate all trucks including those with a 15,000 kg and 52,000 kg gross vehicle weight.
Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver products, supplies, or equipment to designated locations
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of heavy items, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws
- Follow all traffic regulations and company policies during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Assist with vehicle maintenance requests or repairs as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling cargo or equipment
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and routes effectively
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including trucks or vans, depending on the role requirements
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and heavy lifting is preferred
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
