Job Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant / Solution Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, particularly in General Ledger (GL), Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS), and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading large-scale ERP transformation programs, driving finance process transformation, and delivering end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials solutions for complex enterprise environments, preferably within the utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials solutions, with a focus on:

General Ledger (GL)
-
Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
-
Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS)
-
Accounts Receivable (AR)
-
Drive finance transformation initiatives across large-scale ERP implementation and modernization programs.

Design and implement enterprise-wide finance solutions supporting key business processes, particularly:

Record-to-Report (R2R)
-
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
-
Independently lead the design and transformation of enterprise financial structures, including:
-
Chart of Accounts (COA)
-
Ledger architecture
-
Business Unit (BU) structure
-
Develop scalable and compliant financial models for complex organizations, including utility companies.
-
Design solutions that support regulatory accounting requirements, including FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) standards.
-
Architect and implement complex allocation models across:
-
Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)
-
Operating Expenditure (OPEX)
-
Revenue functions
-
Develop and support advanced financial reporting solutions using:
-
Oracle Smart View
-
Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)
-
BI Publisher
-
Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
-
Deliver actionable reporting and analytics that support operational and regulatory requirements.

Configure Oracle Cloud GL and FAH for complex accounting and COA mapping requirements.
-
Design and manage integrations with multiple boundary systems, ensuring seamless financial data flow and accounting consistency.

Design and oversee integrations using:

FBDI (File-Based Data Import)
-
Web Services
-
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
-
Oracle PaaS components
-
Create comprehensive functional design documents for RICE objects:

Reports
-
Interfaces
-
Conversions
-
Extensions
-
Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Manage end-to-end design and delivery of high-volume RICE components.

Lead project activities across all implementation phases, including:

Gap Analysis

Configuration

Engage effectively with business stakeholders, leadership teams, and cross-functional project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications:
-
8–10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials.
-
Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP transformation programs.
-
Extensive expertise in Oracle Cloud GL, FAH, EDMCS, and AR.
-
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
-
Experience designing complex COA structures, financial allocations, and integration solutions.
-
Strong understanding of Oracle integration technologies, including OIC and Oracle PaaS.
-
Demonstrated experience managing and delivering high-volume RICE objects.
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional teams and driving solution delivery.
