About the Role
As a Part-Time Truck Driver (0.9 FTE), you'll play an important role in ensuring fresh, nutritious meals are delivered safely and on time to our satellite locations.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll be responsible for transporting perishable food products from the Production Kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. Your reliability and attention to detail will help keep our meal production and distribution operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial, 5-tone trucks to transport food products and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Ensure timely deliveries to multiple client locations across the region
- Porter carts from trucks to Satellite Site receiver kitchen walk-in refrigerator.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with Leadership Team and clients.
- Collects soiled carts and unload truck once back at Central Site.
- Support the team in maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Other related duties may be assigned as required to support the needs of the team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Demonstrated experience safely operating a 5-ton truck.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, and general upkeep.
- Clean driver's abstract and satisfactory criminal record check.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with internal and external customers.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to completing work safely and efficiently.

Pay: $20.08-$22.15 per hour
