Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver/Yard Person to join our team. This role involves operating tow trucks, managing yard operations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automotive repair, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, parking lots, or roadside locations
- Manage yard operations, including organizing and moving vehicles within the lot
- Assist with vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs as needed
- Use forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, or move vehicles and parts around the yard
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during vehicle recovery and drop-off processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on tow trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and working on-site
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or towing is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and automotive repair is a plus
- Customer service experience is highly desirable
- Certification or experience operating forklifts is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
