Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth operations
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, utensils, and service stations
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and order accuracy
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in time management and multitasking in a fast-paced setting
