Fox Flight Inc. uses 15 days on and 15 days off scheduling system. The15 /15 days off include regular days off, statutory holidays, as well as vacation days. In exchange for 7 days off during the Christmas holidays the employee agrees to work on the 31st day for months that have 31 days. Those who are full-time and have 15 Days off per cycle totals 180 days in the year. Federally regulated employees are given 9 statutory holidays throughout the year. It should be noted that under this system Fox Flight Inc. nurses are allotted 15 days off the first year they are hired.
Employees that have worked at least one consecutive year but less that six are given two weeks vacation (10 days) per year. Employees that have worked at least six consecutive years are given three weeks vacation (15 days) per year.

About the role
Personnel contracted by Fox Flight Inc. Air Ambulance will be responsible for providing quality medical care for patients of Fox Flight. Inc. Individuals holding this position must have certification of registration from their respective Regulatory College and recent/applicable experience in critical care (ER, ICU, CCU).
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and exercising professional standards of care.
- Providing all necessary patient related medical care and treatments within their designated scope of practice and following medical direction outlined by Fox Flight Inc.
- Conducting all duties in accordance with individual standards of practice, as outlined by their respective regulatory college.
- Maintaining valid registration from their respective Regulatory College.
- Conducting ongoing assessment of the patient's condition to critically analyze and consider an individualized direction for care.
- Responsible for appropriate documentation in accordance with Fox Flight Inc. policy and procedures.
- Participate in Fox Flight Inc. Quality Management Committee (QMC).
- Maintaining safety standards set forth by Fox Flight. Inc.
- Exercising effective team player principles.
Qualifications
- Language of Work: English
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
- A minimum of 2 years of ER (Emergency Department) or ICU (Intensive Care Units) experience treating medically complex patients.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (‘BCLS’) within last 2 years
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (‘ACLS’) within last 2 years
- Maintaining registration with Regulatory Body
Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (‘PALS’)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (‘NRP’)
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support (‘PHTLS’) / International Trauma Life Support (‘ITLS’)
